Yard-waste
In the spring and fall, leaves and brush can be deposited at the
Town Highway Garage. The Town Highway Department is located at
Geering Way off Route 52. Drop off times are Monday - Thursday
from 8am to 4pm, Fridays from 8am to 3:30pm. Saturday drop off times
are to be made by calling ahead. Proof of residency is required.

Burning Permits
Currently the Town of Fishkill
population is 19,258. Burning Permits are now being issued to
the Town of Fishkill residents ONLY ! Proof of residency
is required.
Battery Disposal
Dutchess County Resource Recovery Agency, located at 41 Sand Dock
Road, Poughkeepsie, accepts all kinds of batteries. For more
information contact the Dutchess County Resource Recovery Agency at
845-463-6020.
Recycling
Since 1991 all Dutchess County residents have been required to keep
certain items separated from their trash for recycling. The following
items should be separated from trash for recycling: glass bottles and
jars, tin cans, aluminum foil products, plastic bottles, newspapers
