THAT COULD REDUCE YOUR ENERGY BILL...
As you may be aware, the Town of Fishkill Town Board is considering participation in a municipal energy program called Community Choice Aggregation (CCA).
The CCA program is designed to give municipalities the ability to purchase power in bulk to help their residents save on their electric bill and promote clean energy.
Because the CCA offers the potential for savings and to promote green energy, the Fishkill Town Board opted to consider the concept. To not consider the program would, in effect, make a decision for our residents without their knowledge. The Town Board wants to ensure that the true cost to customers is reduced so is requiring two items from the developers running the program:

- The team has to conduct a robust and measurable community outreach campaign to educate the residents about the program

Hudson Valley Community Power (the CCA program team for the Town) is currently conducting a community outreach process with the intention of reaching as many residents as possible.
