Water Problems
If you have problems with your meter reading or your water/sewer bill, contact the Town Hall at (845) 831-7800, ext. 3314. If you have a water main break, a leak, see a fire hydrant leaking or have a problem with the quality of water, contact CAMO Pollution Control, Inc. at 845-463-7310. CAMO is available 24 hours a day for all water and sewer emergencies.
Flu Shot Clinics
Dutchess County Board of Health holds Flu Shot Clinics in the fall. The flu shot is available for $10.00 to Senior Citizens or it is free to anyone with Medicare Part B.
Office for the Aging
Dutchess County Office for the Aging, located at 114 Delafield St. in Poughkeepsie, serves our Senior Citizens in many capacities, from nutrition sites, helpful legal advice, Senior Discount ID's and transportation. For more information call (845)486-2555.
Friendship Center
The Friendship Center is at the First Reformed Church, 63 Main Street in Fishkill. It is open Monday through Friday 10 am to 2 PM The Friendship Center serves lunch, $2.50 donation, plans different activities and provides shopping on Thursdays. There is a bus for those who do not drive. The cost is $.25 each way. They will also deliver meals for those who qualify. For more information call (845) 896-4914.
Dial A Ride
Dial-A-Ride is a curb-to-curb transportation service open to the general public. It operates in Fishkill on Tuesdays, the bus goes from your door in Fishkill to anywhere in Poughkeepsie or any of the shopping malls along Route 9. A potential rider must file an application with the Loop Bus System and make reservations three business days in advance of needing a ride.
Fares:
Senior Citizen - $1.00 one way
Veteran - $1.00 one way
General Fare - $3.50 one way
When schedule allows, drivers will make additional stops within a municipality, however each additional stop will constitute a new fare.

Dutchess County Inter Modal Transportation Center
The Loop Bus System operates a commuter bus to the Beacon train station. Parking is free, the bus is $1.00 each way. Parking is also available for bus transportation to the Dutchess Mall or the Galleria. The Transportation Center is located on Route 9D by the Dutchess Stadium. The Highway Department
Maintains and repairs roads that are dedicated to the Town of Fishkill. They are also in charge of snow removal, paving, patching, sweeping, mowing of grass, sign installations and drainage. Snow ordinance is from November 1 to April 1. For more information, call (845) 896-6013.
